JD Specialized Recruitment is partnering with a luxury 5* lodge in the Kruger National Park to recruit an experienced SENIOR SOUS CHEF to join their Team.
Requirements:
- A Chef’s diploma from a reputable institution.
- 3 years’ fine dining experience preferred in a senior chef’s role.
- Strong leadership & management skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A passion for food, up to date with current trends & eagerness to learn more.
- Must be able to lead the kitchen team in the absence of the head chef.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Skilled in kitchen hygiene standards and practices.
- Strong organizational skills, knowledge of stock control and procurement.
- A hardworking, energetic & positive candidate with good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Stable employment history and contactable references.
A food portfolio must be submitted with your application that clearly displays your creativity, innovation, and attention to detail. (All images will be checked to ensure ownership.)
